2018 Old Trucks and Truckers

For the 4th straight year,

Mr. Sammy Reid (shown kneeling in

center of front row of photo at left), District Managing Director of Fed Ex Freight has invited members of the Middle TN Chapter of the American Truck Historical Society and several of our old trucker friends to bring our antique trucks out for display at the Fed Ex Freight Center in Nashville, TN during the annual TN Trucking Association's Truck Driving Championship, held April 28th.

We want to thank Mr. Reid for inviting us out and to the many people who walked over to look at our old trucks.

The 2018 TN Truck Driving Championship held Saturday April 28th featured drivers from nearly every major trucking company in Tennessee competing in the Written Test, Pre-Trip and Driving competition.  In addition, the

Joe Gibbs-Fed Ex race car was on display and a Kidd Zone with games and toys was set up for the children who attended the event.

We had 9 trucks participate in the Antique Truck Display, including one of the original

Ford Aeromax Big Foot Hauler truck, now owned by Mike Middleton of Atoka, TN.  Mike competed in the TDC Competition for Old Dominion Freight Lines.
